$ man <command-name>
e.g man cp 

Note : for exit to this command use Q key.

Man Pages normally contains sections following aspects of a command

1.  Its name and a short description of what the command does.
2.  A Synopsis of its uses, including available switches.
3.  Any files associated with this command.
4.  Any known bugs in the command.
