CAL COMMAND

The cal command use to show the calendar of specific date or month.

Different options for cal command

$ cal

This command use to show the calendar of current month with highlighting the date of current month.

$ cal -h

This command use to show the calendar of current month without highlighting the date of current month.

$ cal -3

This command use to show the calendar of 3 months, One is the  previous month from the current month, one is current month and the last month is the next month from the current month, with highlighting the date of current month.

$ cal -3 -h

This command use to show the calendar of 3 months, One is the  previous month from the current month, one is current month and the last month is the next month from the current month, without highlighting the date of current month.

$ cal -m 7

This command show the 7th month of the current year.

$ cal -y 2020

This command show the calendar of year 2020.

$ cal -m 3 2011

This command show the 3rd month of the year 2011.
